Déva the Gentle King

Déva is the undisputed king of the oxen herd. The other oxen know it, and so do the visitors. Whenever guests arrive, Déva is always the first to greet them, and only after his approval do the others come forward. Despite his royal status, he has a wonderfully soft side. The moment someone starts petting him, this mighty leader turns into an affectionate giant who loves attention and cuddles. Handsome, confident, and friendly, Déva is often chosen to be decorated for festivals and ceremonies. Together with his brother and working partner Bala, he spent many years faithfully serving Krishna Valley.
